Ingredients:
Taddaah...your bhindi ka salan is ready to serve, have it with hot rice.
- 250 gms bhindi(okra)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 tomato
- 1 onion
- 2 to 3 green chillies
- 1 tbsp tamarind pulp
- Some curry leaves
- Some coriander leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
- Take a deep sized pan and pour oil.
- Once the oil gets hot add chopped onion and fry it until golden brown.
- Then add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies.
- Add chopped tomato, bhindi, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and let it cook for 5 min.
- Once the tomato and bhindi is cooked add tamarind pulp to it and some water to form gravy.
- Lastly add some coriander leaves and simmer it for 5 min.
Taddaah...your bhindi ka salan is ready to serve, have it with hot rice.
