Bhindi ka salan

Ingredients:
  • 250 gms bhindi(okra)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tbsp oil 
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • A pinch of turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 onion
  • 2 to 3 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp tamarind pulp
  • Some curry leaves
  • Some coriander leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
How to prepare Bhindi Ka Salan:
  • Take a deep sized pan and pour oil.
  • Once the oil gets hot add chopped onion and fry it until golden brown.
  • Then add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies.
  • Add chopped tomato, bhindi, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and let it cook for 5 min.
  • Once the tomato and bhindi is cooked add tamarind pulp to it and some water to form gravy.
  • Lastly add some coriander leaves and simmer it for 5 min.

Taddaah...your bhindi ka salan is ready to serve, have it with hot rice.
