Spicy Tandoori Chicken



Ingredients:

  • Two leg pieces with joints attached
  • Half teaspoon salt
  • Half teaspoon red chilli powder(This can vary based on your taste)
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • Half teaspoon garam masala powder
  • A pinch of red food colour
  • Half a cup hung curd
  • Half teaspoon cumin powder(jeera)
  • Half teaspoon ginger paste
  • Half teaspoon garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp oil or butter
How to prepare Spicy Tandoori Chicken:
  • Wash the chicken pieces and let it dry for some time, and pierce the chicken pieces with knife/fork. This will help in marinating the chicken from within. Then add all the ingredients and marinate it overnight.
  • Preheat your oven at moderate heat.
  • Place the chicken onto the grill rack
  • Always check the chicken for every 10 min and turn it constantly.
Hmmmm your tandoori chicken is ready to serve. You can have it with mint chutney. Garnish it with some lemon slices and coriander leaves...

Note: Marinating overnight will enhance the taste of the tandoori chicken.
