Ingredients:
- Two leg pieces with joints attached
- Half teaspoon salt
- Half teaspoon red chilli powder(This can vary based on your taste)
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- Half teaspoon garam masala powder
- A pinch of red food colour
- Half a cup hung curd
- Half teaspoon cumin powder(jeera)
- Half teaspoon ginger paste
- Half teaspoon garlic paste
- 2 tbsp oil or butter
- Wash the chicken pieces and let it dry for some time, and pierce the chicken pieces with knife/fork. This will help in marinating the chicken from within. Then add all the ingredients and marinate it overnight.
- Preheat your oven at moderate heat.
- Place the chicken onto the grill rack
- Always check the chicken for every 10 min and turn it constantly.
Note: Marinating overnight will enhance the taste of the tandoori chicken.
