Indian Mutton Khorma

Ingredients:
  • 500gms mutton
  • Half teaspoon salt
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • Half teaspoon chilli powder
  • Half teaspoon garammasala powder
  • 20gms cashewnuts
  • 1 tbsp coconut powder
  • 2tbsp oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger and garlic paste.
  • 1/2 cup fried onions.
  • Half teaspoon coriander powder
  • Half teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 6 to 7 curry leaves
  • 2 to 3 green chillies
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • Some coriander leaves
How to prepare mutton khorma:
  • First take a bowl and add all the ingredients to the mutton except curry leaves,mustard seeds and fried onions.
  • Take a kadhai and pour oil into it.
  • If the oil gets hot add mustard seeds and curry leaves
  • Then add mutton batter and mix it thoroughly.
  • Cover it with a lid for 30 min on a medium flame.
  • See that the mutton khorma does not get stuck to the bottom.
  • Take out the lid add fried onions and some coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chapatis or naan.
